Student applicants must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have a 3.0 GPA. Only students from universities that have a signed memorandum of understanding with the USMEF may participate. Students must apply through their university’s BVIP Coordinator and must complete a rigorous screening process which includes:
Two (2) professor recommendations
Two (2) interviews – with USMCEF and Host Company
A written essay
Applicants must be current undergraduate students at time of participation in the Buen Vecino Internship Program (e.g. rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year undergraduates)
All candidates must be legal citizens of the country where they study.
