“The mission of Future Leaders of Irving is to identify, educate, and develop our local youth to become future business and civic leaders.”
In 2011, the Future Leaders of Irving (FLI) program was created as a local education and career readiness program for high school seniors. Each school year, up to sixty (60) high school students in Irving, TX are chosen to learn more about the civic, non-profit and corporate organizations that call Irving, TX home. Since then, over 300 hundred students have graduated from our program.
The program, which runs for seven months, provides high school seniors the opportunity to learn more about many organizations, potential careers and important lessons in leadership. The program encourages and promotes continuing education, civic engagement and personal development.
