The U.S.-Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation, through the leadership of Mr. Al Zapanta, launched the Future Leaders of Irving (FLI) program in 2010. Though run by the Foundation, FLI is a true community program supported by a steering committee and a number of program partners focused on providing our students an incredible leadership program.
FLI, which runs for seven months, provides high school seniors the opportunity to learn more about many organizations, potential careers and lessons in leadership. The program encourages and promotes continuing education, civic engagement and personal development.
The mission of ILCCC is to create economic activity for Irving, advance more than 1,663 business investors who represent 145,000 employees and promote all of our members including five Fortune 500 global headquarters and eleven U.S. Small Business of the Year award winners.
